We bond over other things, but it would have been a lot cooler to be able and talk about cards whenever I call him up.Fujihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00749100861086458307noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9108520133795628754.post-14699724048313165872018-02-15T14:28:44.654-05:002018-02-15T14:28:44.654-05:00I always love reading your posts that involve your...I always love reading your posts that involve your dad in collecting. I sent out some TTM requests a few years ago to some of my dad's favorite Pirates from when he was a kid (Bob Friend, Vern Law, Hank Foiles) and asked them to personalize the autographs to him. He's never been much of a collector and only casually follows sports these days, but his face lit up when he opened them. He must have asked a thousand times how I got the autographs made out to him. Memories like that are priceless.Markhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04854315904173219584noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9108520133795628754.post-10583316811073851722018-02-15T13:02:54.917-05:002018-02-15T13:02:54.917-05:00Fantastic post. This is one of the reasons I'm eternally grateful that my dad has taken an active role in my card hobby: the sheer joy of getting to share it with him.Nickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13508921644099472101noreply@blogger.com
