The Annual Pilgrimage

I've spent plenty of time bemoaning the lack of card shows in the Pittsburgh area.  But all that can be forgiven with one blissful weekend.  Starting Friday, the annual Robert Morris card show will be occupying my time and spending cash.  It's a huge vintage-heavy show that always sends me home with large stacks of cards that inevitable take months to sort.

While my vintage needs have been dwindling over the past year or so, the show always offers up some real gems at fantastic prices.  Last year's show was actually a dud compared to previous years - toooooo much vintage, and almost no modern stuff.  But I'm still excited to see what gems the weekend will yield.  Add in free autos from former Bucs Bob Friend and Bob Robertson and former Steeler kicker Matt Bahr, and it's a win-win situation.

If anyone has any particular wants they want me to keep an eye out for, just post or drop me an email.  I'd be happy to watch out for anything special while I'm flipping through boxes all weekend.  The discount vintage boxes at this show are legendary.

  2. Nice. Three guys signing free autographs? I'm lucky my local card shows have one guest signing for free. Have fun and I hope you find some nice items for your collection.
